Self Employment Income Support Scheme

18-May-2020

Self Employment Income Support Scheme

If you are self employed or part of a partnership and your business has been affected by Coronavirus (Covid-19) then you could be eligible for the Self Employment Income Support Scheme.

It will cover 80% of your average monthly trading profits and 3 months will be paid in one lump sum, capped at £7,500.

The scheme is designed to help those whose trading profits do not exceed £50k subject to further terms and conditions. You can check whether you are eligible to claim on the website below by using the eligibility checker in conjunction with the conditions attached to continuing self-employment, or if you are a client we can check for you based on the tax returns that we have filed for you.

When you know that you are eligible you can make a claim straight away. You will need your UTR, National Insurance Number and bank details. You will also need to set yourself up with a government gateway user ID and password, as I am afraid you cannot use our gateway and we cannot make the claim for you.
